MODESTO, Calif. — Modesto, California police recognized three local men for rescuing a driver from a sinking vehicle.
Modesto Police identified Art Mondragon Jr., Art Mondragon Sr. and Mark Polkingorn as the Good Samaritans. The trio jumped into a canal after witnessing a car fly over the edge. Police stated that the unidentified driver experienced a medical emergency before plummeting his car into the water.
Medical personnel then arrived and transported the driver to a local hospital. Local authorities have not yet commented on his medical status.
