Touching Homecoming proposal goes viral

Now this is a feel good story! David Cowan, 19, of Sanford, Florida surprised his long-time girlfriend, 18-year-old Saris Marie Garcia of Altamonte Springs, Florida by asking her be his “sunshine” and date to the school’s homecoming dance.

Garcia, a supporter of Lake Brantley High School, was remaining uninvolved of a Thursday night football match-up at Seminole High School when Cowan, who goes to Seminole, drew closer with blooms and a publication he planned, welcoming her to his homecoming.

Garcia can be found in the video joyfully running toward Cowan and tolerating his greeting with a brilliant grin. Accordingly, Cowan got down on one knee, kissed Garcia’s hand, stood and celebrated in front a horde of extremely noisy and glad observers.

The video has been shared more than 72 thousand times, and has amassed about 4 million perspectives since it was posted.

Garcia and Cowan have a history past their viral minute. They met at age 3 at a similar language training facility in Orlando, as per a report by Yahoo! Way of life.

Cowan moved to Pembroke Pines and the families didn’t keep in contact, yet in a fortunate new development Garcia’s family moved to a close by city where the two wound up in a similar tuition based school, Yahoo! detailed.

The two families stayed in contact and moved back to Central Florida where Cowan and Garcia fortified progressively over their week after week Special Olympic practices.

The two began dating when they were 14 and 15 years of age, Yahoo announced.
